A guitar is a musical instrument. Playing the guitar depends in large part on structure. For playing the guitar, one has to understand the notes that make up a scale as well as the notes of the six individual strings. The notes are A, A# or Bb, B, C, C# or Db, D, Eb, E, F, F# or Gb, G and G# or Ab. Eight of these notes make a scale.

However, a guitar tab is a system of notations, letters, symbols and other visual representations, instead of the traditional musical notation. The sole purpose of a guitar tab is to give the direction to the player as to how to play a musical piece through a diagram of strings

Techniques. Some of them are more useful than others. Especially when it comes to piano playing. What you’re about to learn is a special way of forming chords at the keyboard that will have you playing chord piano in no time.

It’s called the open position chord and it’s exactly what its name implies - a chord structure that covers more than 2 octaves of the keyboard and uses both hands right away.

The open position chord (or OPC for short) is not an easy chord position to master at first, but once you get it in your hands, you’ll be well on your way to playing chord piano.

The first thing most students think they have to learn when playing keyboards is note reading. But not only is note reading unnecessary…it’s a hindrance when you really want to play piano like a pro. Why? Because pros use chords. And chords are much, much easier to learn than reading sheet music.

While chords will help you play like a pro fast, it all depends on the kind of chords you play. For example, most fledgling piano students think they will begin by playing triads. A guitar tablature, known as tab, is a diagram of strings where finger positions are indicated using numerals corresponding to the appropriate frets. Vertical lines represent the strings of an instrument and the horizontal lines represent the frets and dots indicate finger positions.

The series of horizontal lines forms what is called a staff or stave. Each line represents a string, and the standard acoustic guitar tab has a six-line staff. Numbers are written on the lines. Each represents a fret on the instrument. For example, a number 3 written on the top line means that the player should press down on the high E (top/thin) string (and not the low E, which is thicker) at the third fret. Number 0
